If your dream elopement takes you beyond Vermont, I’ll bring the same level of planning support, artistry, and care to your destination.

Getting married in Vermont is simple and stress-free:

• You must be 16 or older (parental consent required under 18) 
• A Vermont marriage license is required 
• Licenses are valid for 60 days anywhere in Vermont 
• Cost: $60, obtained from any town clerk 
• Officiants may include: 
  • Justice of the Peace 
  • Ordained clergy 
  • Judge 
  • Friend or family member registered as a temporary officiant ($100)
     

After the ceremony, the officiant returns the signed certificate within 10 days, and official copies may be ordered for $10 each.
